Mysterian- Chapter 7- Hugo-Iaian

I hear that the Pyrobrynes are planning war. It's outrageous, they have no claim to the throne. Even if they had murdered every Chalcedoni, they'd have to get through every Kryobryne, who all have a better claim to the throne than them.

They need weapons, armour, horses. We have our Mysterian power. Lufrya has us to help defend them. The combined strength of the two houses will destroy the bloodthirsty Pyrobrynes and their murderous leader. Duchess Jacquetta is a tyrant, at best, and a demon at worst. Even worse than the famed Comfurlc queen, Bloodlustre Maria of Thunder.

I return to my river, its water flowing angrily, striking the riverbanks with such vigour, breaking the very rocks embedded in it. Suddenly, starting from underneath me, ice and diamonds replace the water.

Mysterian- Chapter 6- Cordelia

I am finding it very hard to post every Thursday, so I decided I'll just post once a week from now on... Anyway, here's the next post! See ya! Still no name for Calypsa's son!


The army is prepared. War is coming. The Pyrobrynes will take the crown. Yes, Great-aunt Jacquetta wants to take the crown and I will be a princess.

I am heir to the Pyrobrynes and I will rule with great power. I will be queen, whatever it takes. I will have to kill the person closest to the throne and I'm not afraid to kill that jerk Hugo- Iaian. But first, we have to get ready. I can't wait. We won't just have Astrel, but we will have the entire kingdom, including the City of Fleeting Manipulation all the way to the Cluster of Sky Keys, all owned by the Kryobrynes.

Mysterian- Chapter 5- Hugo- Iaian

I sense something suspicious. We are seeing a lot less of those dirty Pyrobrynes and I feel like something BIG is going to happen. Mama was telling me the origin of our house. Eleanora, my ancestor, the pure ice maiden was passing through a bitter cold winter night, when Walter, a knight helped her get to her destination. As thanks, she blessed his family with ice powers. Later, when they crossed paths yet again, they decided to be together.

Pyrobrynes were created when one child- Jacques- had fire sprouting from his hands. He betrayed the Kryobrynes to the now extinct Darkmoores, marrying the evil Rose- Anna, eventually giving birth to the now head of the Pryobrynes, Jacquetta Darkmoores-Pyrobryne, the tyrant of our kingdom. Our head, Lady Moanna Belle Kryobryne- Chalcedoni, my mother, hates the old Jacquetta.

My sister, Calypsa, has just given birth to my little nephew. She lives in the Media castle.

Here's where I want your names! Calypsa's little boy! Anyway, BYE!

Mysterian- Chapter 4- Cordelia

We are preparing for war. The Kryobrynes won't know what hit them. Yes. I like it. War. What a wonderful word. Conflict for the better cause. We're ready for them. Great aunt Jacquetta is smiling, for the first time since the Battle of Rhaenyx. We won of course, but the Pyrobrynes had lost many in that battle.

Our house has always been obsessed with violence, our mascots the fierce bee and furious bear represent our blood lust. Great aunt Jacquetta has united with the other branch of Pyrobryne, renowned blacksmiths throughout the kingdom, making weapons and armour. The King won't be happy. But we'll be satisfied when that Bloodmixer bows down at our feet.

I love it. Violence. The Kryobrynes have always been focused on expanding their knowledge, the little bookworms. Yet many are skilled warriors, using speed and stealth against our brutal strength. I hate them. They are weak and puny and obsolete in the grand scheme of things. The Chalcedoni won't even have to intervene. It'll be finished before it starts. They are vain but powerful. We must be wary of them. We don't want more enemies...

Mysterian- Chapter 3- Hugo-Iaian

I watched her run away. Embers burn the damp grass behind her, her red hair flowing behind her. Which was strange. It was white hair, that changed to a very red shade when she ran away. No other smelly Pyrobryne could do that...

Oh well. Can't do much anyway. She had a sense of greatness in her presence, but she is an enemy. One we must wipe out.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. Lufrya was made up of three kinds of people. The Comfurlc, commoners, unable to harness powers. The Ersagists are the most powerful nobles in Lufrya, made up mostly of Chalcedoni and Kryobrynes. I want to be one when I am older. Lastly, there are the Mysterian. Nobles that are part of the three main houses. Uswana have always been seen as a sub-society, and we have graciously gave them the Hills, in return for support.

But the Pyrobrynes. Rebels, rivals of Lufrya. They were once part of Kryobryne, until one had a different power. He became big-headed, and decided to make his own house. That was when the Showdown of 1756 happened. The two houses fought, until the Chalcedoni heir, Prince Gem, separated the two. The current king, Ignatius, was a rebel from Pyrobryne that the Chalcedoni accepted. He has the responsibility of stopping the warring families.
